2 point half eyeshadow technique with Elianto eyeshadow

A fast post on my last week's class! This eye makeup is a 1/2 point eye. Combine two colors, one a light base color, and the other one with a darker shade. Blend the colors, dividing into half of your eyelid area. For this look i used both eyeshadows from Elianto. Elianto provides affordable eyeshadow and their shades are super blend'able' , stays long and vibrant! Better qualities than my makeup school's eyeshadow pallette which they claim to be of professional use. wtf. Sommore they sold it to me with a whopping hundreds of rimggit!  Those eyeshadow apparently are 'pasar malam' grade when i received it! >.< What to do just take it as a school fee lah.......haiz......groupon deals bah~

These two shades are the ones that i used for this look. A salmon pink for the inner front shadow and a wine red purplish shades for the outer half.

Throwback Sunday LOTD / OOTD ....all pieces are below RM100!

Tonight I shall post up my yesterday's outfit that I wore to my makeup class.
Am having an unusual headache since last week and tonight it started to flare up again. Forgot to re-take my BP measurement just now in the gym. I was shocked when the first reading gave me a 136/80 mm HG! Which is the highest reading in my life. My baseline is usually around 98-110/60 mm HG. Never it went up that high! So i am a little worried right now. Hopefully its a normal headache, and I plan to monitor my BP for the next three days and see how it goes.

FANCL Beauty Facial Treatment (Hydrating) Mask

Got some free facial mask from a friend. After using it for a few days, i have to say i have fallen in love with it :D ~Especially on this hot weather! This small tubes of facial treatment mask comes in 6pc per box, selling at SGD58 (~RM139). So this friend of mine is a corporate woman and she is always so kind and generous to give me some of her luxurious skincare products. She works in a advertising company and always have plenty of free gifts from clients that she couldn't finish using it all by herself. Hence, the giveaway to me~ owh Im so lucky~ ^^ Really a BIG THANK YOU to her :)

After using it for two days consecutively, my thirsty skin starts to absorb all the goodness and moisture that this mask has to provide. Because I am too lazy to rinse it off with water (which i am supposed to hehee~) , I just wipe it off with my baby wipes. Immediately, you will notice that your skin is so supple and brightened!

Although I am using baby wipes, please do not follow my laziness method as some might contain alcohol. Sensitive or dry skin types are not suitable. But so far my skin could tolerate it well. So no problems for me :) . Then I'll continue to pat on my toner and moisturizers + essential oil to sleep. The next morning, waking up to a bouncy moistful skin! On top of it, my pores around the T-zone area has gone smaller!

Store it in your fridge so that when u apply it on your face, it gives you the nice cooling feel. It immediately quenches your thirsty skin on this super hot humid weather, chillin' you down as you relaxes on your comfy bed and enjoy your own private facial session. I did some studies regarding the ingredients used 

Ingredients: 

1) Small green tea capsule - these little capsules will dissolve as you glide it on your skin and it acts to improve blood circulation hence reducing puffiness and refines enlarged pores.  

It also helps to exfoliate your skin removing debris and waste aggravated by hot weather.

2) European Pear Extract - removes stubborn dead skin cells 

3) Royal Jelly Essence - helps restores cell function and enhances skin metabolism 

4) Bifida Bacterium Extract - supports healthy cell productions (found it on google that this bacteria is a type of probiotic and it is also found in our gastrointestinal tracts and vagina!!...........hmmmmmmm interesting.......LOLz)   

How to Use: 

1 Tube is able to serve me for three usage. So this little thing is quite consumer friendly! I keep it in the fridge inside a clean plastic bag to avoid being contaminated. 

1) After cleansing, pat dry face and apply mask with clean dry fingers. 

2) Glide on a generous amount onto skin including the eyes area. You may apply a thicker layer onto areas  that are exceptionally dry like the nostrils and lip.

3) Gently massage to dissolve the green tea capsule, and leave on for 3minutes or until half dry. 

4) Rinse it off thoroughly with water.  

Pro's : 

- small yet able to reuse up to 3 usage!

-easy to carry (travel friendly)

- easy to apply

- you may continue with your laundry after applying without worrying the mask might drop off (unlike sheets mask) 

- quick and easy, very suitable for busy heads like me esp. when u feel like skipping mask on weekdays

- has a calming and refreshing effect after use

-no parabens/additives used 

-value for money!

Con's: 

- once open, could not seal back 

- unable to control amount of mask on one squeeze

-not available on m'sia retail drug stores 

-needs a fridge for maintenance! hahaa

Tous Les Jours Bkt Bintang 14/02/14

Its Chap Goh Mei & Valentine's Day!!!
Friend say, this co-celebration only happen once in 20 years.
So decided to celebrate it after work with my friend Mabel at this korean bakery/coffee shop and have a good chat. Its my first try here. Ambiance was  really nice and comfy. You can enjoy the city view and great romantic lightings'. A great place to have some 'SS' session with friends too!

Food and beverage was mediocre to me. Overall would give a 3/5 rating. Staff and service was ok because they ought to have those basics customer care. They greeted and smile, contradictory to the feed backs from other blogs about this branch. Serving was fast at the counter. Maybe it wasn't that packed i guess.

Blueberry Yogurt Cake RM8.90
rating : 3/5 nothing impressive, taste like normal, any other cake. Macaron was nice, not too sweet  

Black Forest Cake RM8.90

rating: 2/5 i think this cake has been kept too long or its just not being kept chill enough. I can taste the yeast smell, the cake not as soft and berries a bit turn sourish. Secret Recipe's one tastes much better. 

Along with two hot chocolates. As both of us are either having flu and having stomach problems. Hot chocolate cost RM8/8.90, cnt rmb exactly. 

Rating: 2/5 , warm enough, big cup, but tastes 'fake' haha, not the rich chocolaty smooth that i wanted. And its too sweet.

NANA makeup from PONY's

Tried out NANA's makeup from PONY's makeup book. She is a korean ulzzang makeup artist. I love most of her tutorials. Many are so natural yet has its strong points and style. Here's some pictures to share.

tadaaa~~ sample picture from PONY's...get it at POPULAR bookstore...comes with a CD, price at around RM29.90-39.90. I cant remember exactly how much this one cost. I bought two of her makeup books. Too bad it is written in chinese. It would be nice if they have English version. This is a different look achieved by changing the lip color. I used a Nudy Pink shade from Loreal Lipstick. 

A snap from one of my bridal makeup classes. I did some face contouring and highlights. It gives a healthy skin tone look. Different from NANA's makeup where you need to make your skin as pale as possible. Hope you people enjoy my entry today:) Thanks. 

Double Eyelid Tape

 

   Bought two types of double eyelid to play from Kenyalang market, Kuching (my hometown). One is a nude color tape which matches to your skin tone. Another one is made from netted fabric usually seen on bridal dresses. Not sure what it is called. Anyway, i have seen some makeup artist use it and the results are more satisfactory. Moreover it allows better application of eyeshadow. Its a pain in the ass whenever my makeup tutor wants me to apply eyeshadow on top of a double eyelid tape. I personally think its kinda stupid and unnatural. Here are some pictures to share.

its only RM5.90!!! Only in Kenyalang Market, you can get those cheap beauty stuffs to experiment. But i would not recommend girls to buy the cosmetics...hehee

A nudy plastic tape which goes well with our yellow undertone skin. 

A cute packaging <3.....they have a thicker version of double eyelid tape which comes in 30sets per box. 

Attached with a glue and tweezers for better grip when applying. Rm12.90 per box. I remember it was RM15 @ Tmn Connaught's night market. 

its a pre-cut ones! Saves up so many time to cut out the shape yourself.

on my left eye is the plastic doube eyelid tape, where as the right one is where i apply the 'netty' fabric. On the right picture is with eyeliners drawn. So it covers up the sticking out tape. Cant really get a proper grip with the plastic ones.  

Upper row is with the plastic tape. I can say that the netted fabric ones a much more comfortable though a bit troublesome to apply. As you have to apply the glue onto it yourself. But it creates a much more au naturale look. For thicker eyelids effect (rounder eyes), you can add on another strip on top the first one. Just make sure u overlap it to halves. And also for longer wear, make sure u clean your eyelids from oils secreted/moisturizer. Ask me if i like these beauty gadgets? Well,  i still prefer doing make up without double eyelid tapes. I can always make a fake eyelid with shadows and eyeliners. And its much more flattering :p
